Σ K–constraints for Hybrid Systems

In this paper we introduce and study computational aspects of ΣK-constraints which are powerful enough to represent computable continuous data, but also simple enough to be an approach to approximate constraint solving for a large class of quantified continuous constraints. We illustrate how ΣK -constraints can be used for reasoning about hybrid systems.

On (σ, τ)-module extension Banach algebras

Let A be a Banach algebra and X be a Banach A-bimodule. In this paper, we define a new product on $Aoplus X$ and generalize the module extension Banach algebras. We  obtain characterizations of Arens regularity, commutativity, semisimplity, and study the ideal structure and derivations of this new Banach algebra.
